Administrative Committee holds its 69th meeting

The Committee determined multiple proposals for decisions

At its 69th meeting held today, within the continuation of the procedure for electing members of the Committee on monitoring the application of laws and other regulations important for building trust in the election process, in accordance with Article 4 and 2 Decision on forming the Committee on monitoring the application of laws and other regulations important for building trust in the election process and  the Invitation of the Administrative Committee of 19 July 2016 to the MP Groups of the Parliament of Montenegro for submitting proposals for candidates for members of the Committee, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation determined the Proposal for the Decision on election of members of the Committee on monitoring the application of laws and other regulations important for building trust in the election process and decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to elect the following as members of the Committee on monitoring the application of laws and other regulations important for building trust in the election process: Mr Milutin Simović, Mr Miodrag Vuković, Mr Predrag Sekulić, Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić, Mr Suljo Mustafić, Ms Zorica Martinović, Ms Ljerka Dragičević, Ms Draginja Vuksanović, Mr Neven Gošović, Mr Zoran Miljanić, Mr Dritan Abazović, and Mr Miloš Konatar.

Within the continuation of the procedure for appointing the president, vice president and members of the Committee on monitoring the application of the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs in the part relating to the media, and in accordance with Article 64b of the Law on Election of Councillors, and the submitted proposals by MP Groups of the Parliament of Montenegro for appointing the president, vice president and members of the Committee, the Committee determined the Proposal for the Decision on appointing the president, vice president and members of the Committee on monitoring the application of the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs in the part relating to the media, and it decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to appoint Ms Nada Drobnjak as Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Danko Šarančić as Deputy Chairperson, and as members - Ms Žana Filipović, Mr Goran Tuponja, Mr Suljo Mustafić, Mr Genci Nimanbegu, Mr Slaven Radunović, Mr Koča Pavlović, Mr Vladislav Bojović, and Ms Danijela Danka Marković.

Furthermore, within continuation of the procedure for electing members of the Temporary parliamentary committee on monitoring the investigation of cases of endangering security of journalists and media outlets, and in accordance with Article 2 of the Decision on forming the Temporary parliamentary committee on monitoring the investigation of cases of endangering security of journalists and media outlets, and the submitted proposals by MP Groups of the Parliament of Montenegro for election of members of the Committee, the Committee determined the Proposal for the Decision on election of members of the Temporary parliamentary committee on monitoring the investigation of cases of endangering security of journalists and media outlets, and decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to appoint the following as members of the Committee: Ms Marta Šćepanović, Mr Milorad Vuletić, Mr Goran Tuponja, Mr Andrija Popović, Mr Emilo Labudović, Mr Vladislav Bojović, Mr Srđan Milić, and Mr Izet Bralić.

Upon Proposal for Appointment of Advisor to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, submitted by the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Darko Pajović, the Committee decided to appoint Ms Milica Boljević, graduate engineer of Chemical Technology, as the Advisor to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro.

Within the item of the agenda “Current issues”, MP Ms Branka Bošnjak initiated the issues of chairing over the meetings of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration from the aspect of harmonisation with provisions of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament.
