The Parliamentary Forum on renewable energy sources began

The key issues that the agencies for development are facing, and which are related to support to renewable energy sources will be discussed at the forum.

In the period from 7th to 8th March 2013, organized by the Parliament for Climate Change in Brussels, there will be a Parliamentary Forum held, titled:”International Cooperation regarding renewable energy sources -  the role of regional and global agencies in promoting renewable energy sources and new energy networks”, which will be attended by the MP Mr. Šefkija Murić, upon invitation.

On the first day of the Forum, two sessions were held: “Renewable Energy Networks and energy supply of rural areas” and “Building of the new routes of electrical energy and renewable energy facilities”, where the speakers were Dr. Kandeh K. Yumkella, Director-General of the UN Organisation for Industrial Development; Mr. Mark Radka, Head for Energy Branch of the UN Environmental Protection Program; Ms. Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Managing Director of the World Bank and Mr. Donald Kaberuka, the president of the African Development Bank.

The participant of the Forum had an opportunity to exchange experiences and present actual proposals and suggestions on the previously considered issues.
