He finished elementary school in Štoj, and the gymnasium in the school centre “Bratstvo i jedinstvo” in Ulcinj. He is married to his wife Dilja from Tuzi, municipality Podgorica.
He is a father of three under-aged daughters: Donika, Franceska and Barbara.
He permanently resides in the village of Sveti Đorđe, which he considers to be the most beautiful village in the world. He has been politically active since his youth.
He was a respectable entrepreneur, President of the Management Board and the Executive Director of HTP Albatros AD Ulcinj.
He has been the Chairperson of the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro since 2001.
In three convocations, in 2001, 2002 and 2006, he was elected as a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro. He is a member of the Administrative Committee, Constitutional Committee and Legislative Committee in the Parliament of Montenegro.
He was a member of the Constitutional Committee and participated in drafting and adopting the First Constitution of the independent state of Montenegro.
He has been a member of the Judicial Council since 2007.
