• She graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and worked as a professor in the High School of Civil Engineering in Podgorica.
• She was a member of the executive board of DPS, from 1998 to 2002.
• She was a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro from 2001 to 2002, and a councillor in the Municipal Assembly Podgorica from 2002 to 2006.
• She has been the Head of the Gender Equality Office in the Government of Montenegro, since April 2003.
• She has been a member of the Presidency of DPS since 2008.
• She was a member of the City Theatre Council, as well as a member of the Regional Committee of the Project STAR Network of World Learning.
• She is a member of the Regional Women’s Lobby for Peace, Security and Justice of the South East Europe.
