President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Darko Pajović sent letters to President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Ms Christine Muttonen, ODIHR Director Mr Michael Link and President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mr Pedro Agramunt, inviting representatives of their institutions to participate in observing the upcoming parliamentary elections in Montenegro, scheduled for 16 October of this year.

“It is of paramount importance for Montenegro to hold transparent, free and fair parliamentary elections, in accordance with international standards and the best democratic practices in Europe”,  the letters say.
