At today’s meeting of the Council of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, upon the proposal of Mr Sreten Radonjić, Director of the Agency, and following several-hour long constructive discussion and a number of adopted amendments, the Council has unanimously adopted the Statute of the Council of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption (total of five members voted - Ms Goranka Vučinić, President of the Council, Mr Ristan Stijepović, Mr Radule Žurić and Mr Bojan Obrenović, Ms Vanja Ćalović, members of the Council). The adoption of the Statute of the Agency has created conditions for registering Agency as a legal entity.
At the seventh meeting, the Committee took position that it would support the Proposal for the budget of the Agency, only if its amount was not less than 0.2% of the current budget of Montenegro.
In line with articles 88 and 95 of the Law on Prevention of Corruption, upon the proposal of Mr Sreten Radonjić, Director of the Agency, and following amendments to the Proposal for the budget of the Agency for 2016 by proposer of the act, the Council has unanimously supported the Proposal for the budget of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption for 2016 (total of four members voted - Ms Goranka Vučinić, President of the Council, Mr Ristan Stijepović, Mr Radule Žurić and Mr Bojan Obrenović, members of the Council, while Ms Vanja Ćalović, member of the Council had left the meeting earlier).
Within the item of the agenda: “Current issues”, the Director of the Agency announced that he would deliver for consideration the Rulebook on Organisation and Job Scheme of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption to the Council of the Agency on 24 November 2015. It was agreed that the act should be considered at the next meeting of the Council, scheduled for 27 November 2015.
