The VII Children's Parliament is organised by the Parliament of Montenegro in cooperation with Center for Children’s Rights of Montenegro, on the occasion of 20 November - the Day of adopting the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

President of the Parliament says that he has just returned from the celebration of a quarter century since the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, reminding that children’s rights are the most universal value.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić today will open the VI session of the Children's Parliament.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr Ranko Krivokapić said in his opening statement that he was particularly pleased by the fact that out of the 25 convocations of the Parliament of Montenegro - Children's Parliament was held for the fifth time, becoming thus a nice tradition.

In his introductory speech, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapić said that he was exceptionally pleased that he was opening the happiest parliament in the world, for the fourth time, pointing out that it was immeasurable that the children each time would bring in and share their joy and expectations within the walls of this Montenegrin building, where the decisions on Montenegro were being made.

Representatives of MP’s clubs of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Government of Montenegro, as well as Mayors of Podgorica and Cetinje and a representative of UNICEF will answer the children’s questions upon the introductory words of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapić, and a speech of the Speaker of the Children’s Parliament.

Povodom 20.novembra, Dana usvajanja Konvencije o pravima đeteta, danas je u Skupštini Crne Gore održano treće zasijedanje Đečjeg parlamenta.

U Skupštini Crne Gore održano je drugo zasijedanje Đečijeg parlamenta, kojem je prisustvovalo 67 đece iz 19 osnovnih i pet srednjih škola u Crnoj Gori. Predśednik Skupštine, Ranko Krivokapić ocijenio je da je parlament danas “najveseliji na svijetu”.
