An MP has the right to availability of all official materials, documents, and data which are prepared or collected in the committees or the Parliamentary Service, Government, ministries or other bodies of the state administration, which refer to the issues of significance for performing the MP function.
An MP has the right to seek information and explanations from the President of the Parliament, president of the working body, ministers or other officials, referring to jobs within the framework of rights and obligations of these officials, or jobs within the competence of the authorities which they manage, and which an MP needs in order to perform the MP function.
An MP whose language is not the official language in Montenegro has the right to speak in his/her own language in the sitting of the Parliament, under the condition to timely notify the secretary general if he/she wishes to exercise that right, so that the translation to the official language could be provided.
An MP shall participate in the work of the Parliament and the committees of which he/she is a member, and vote.
An MP shall also participate in the work of the committee of which he/she is not a member, but without the right to vote.
An approval request to initiate the criminal proceedings or determine detention against an MP is submitted to the Administrative Committee by the President of the Parliament.
The Committee shall submit its report with proposal, as a rule, at the first next sitting of the Parliament.
An MP shall resign in writing and submit his/her resignation to the President of the Parliament. The President of the Parliament then immediately delivers the resignation to all MPs.
