• Born on 13 May 1966 in Nikšić.
• Graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology in Podgorica, in 1991.
• After finishing studies, he works in Željezara – Nikšić (Steelworks Nikšić) at the most responsible positions in the key product line – steelworks
• He was the President of the Union Organization of Željezara from 2004.
• From 2008 to the political engagement in Democratic Front he was the President of the Central Committee of the Free Trade Union of Montenegro.  
• Known as a prominent labour leader and fighter for workers rights.
• The leader of many protests and strikes, aimed at improvement of socio-economic position of workers.
• Winner of numerous national and international trophies in boxing, in boxing courts all across former Yugoslavia and Europe.
