As final legal deadline for calling local elections in eleven municipalities in Montenegro is approaching, it is necessary that all parliamentary subjects make a maximum effort in order to adopt amendments to the electoral legislation, thus enabling the forthcoming elections to be held with partial application of new electoral legislation.
Adopting the amendments to the electoral law is a fundamental precondition for initiating the building of trust in the election process and work of the Parliament in full composition. Including the proposal for the Law in Agenda of the Second Sitting of the Spring Session would create conditions for initiating the final discussion on disputable details of the law.
