Representatives of the School were introduced to the history of Montenegrin Parliament, competences and manner of functioning, from the beginning of parliamentarism - back in 1906 to the present.
The students visited the Great Hall, where plenary sittings are held and White Room; they saw the permanent exhibition of photographs of the all presidents of the Parliament of Montenegro, collection of Montenegrin dynastic coat of arms and some of the work of arts that adorn Parliament’s building.
Students of the University of Montenegro were particularly interested in the number of MP Groups and working bodies in the Parliament.
The first of the two groups of the “School of Business Skills” which expressed an interest in visiting the Parliament of Montenegro was composed of 17 students.
The visits are a part of the project Open Parliament whose aim is to bring the institution of the Parliament of Montenegro closer to citizens, primarily youth.
