Athens, 16-17 March, 2014

Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Miodrag Vuković, as a member of the Working Group, will participate in the 12^th meeting of the Parliamentary Dimension Working Group of the South East Europe Cooperation Process SEECP PD, which will be held within Romania presidency over the initiative, in Bucharest, on 16 March. 

During their visit to Finland, the Committee delegation was informed in detail about the Finnish education system in the Finnish Parliament, as well as in the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Ambassador of the United Kingdom of the Great Britain and North Ireland to Montenegro Mr Ian Whitting visited earlier today Democracy Workshops of the Parliament of Montenegro on the topic “European Union”, where he spoke with students of VIII-3 class from primary school “Njegoš”, Cetinje.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić sent, on the occasion of death of academician Mr Božidar Nikolić, a letter of condolences to the family Nikolić and Doclean Academy of Sciences and Arts.

The Committee provided a positive opinion on Ms Tamara Mugoša, candidate for the position of the Ambassador of Montenegro to Israel.

Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25^th convocation, at today’s continuation of the 28th meeting, decided to sent a letter to the Collegium of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro in order to inform it on the Request by former MP Zdenka Popović with regard to exercising the right from the Article 10 of the Law Governing the Wages of the State and Public Officials. 

The Committee established proposal for election of four members of the Judicial Council from among the respectable jurists, and proposed it to the Parliament for further procedure
