Mr Hughes commended the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms citing that the organising of public debates and visits to institutions in order to monitor the state of human rights in them was especially significant.

Today, on 18 February, President of the Parliament of Montenegro and OSCE PA Mr Ranko Krivokapić will receive H.E. Mr Evangelos Venizelos, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. 

On day three of the First Extraordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2014, MPs did not adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs.

At the meeting, the Committee considered and unanimously adopted its 2013 Performance Report. The Committee concluded that in the year 2013 they had had significantly more activities than in 2012.
