Within the project “Democracy Workshops”, the students of the eighth and ninth grade of the Primary School “Bernard Bolzano” from Tabor, Czech Republic and the Primary School “Milija Nikčević” from Nikšić attended a joint workshop on the topic “European Union”, focused on the EU founding and values, education and mobility.
Within the workshop, the students visited the Parliament of Montenegro, toured the building of the Parliament, and were informed on the origin, organisation and programmes of the Parliament. Following the tour, the children had the opportunity to follow the Sitting of the Parliament, live from the citizens’ lounge in the Plenary Hall.
The Primary School “Bernard Bolzano” from Tabor, Czech Republic and the Primary School “Milija Nikčević” from Nikšić participate in the project “Wouldn’t life be boring if we were all the same?” representing the international partnership of schools and providing the opportunity of intercultural exchange and cooperation.
