At the meeting of the Bureau the determination of the agenda for the second, Spring Session of PACE was discussed. Among other items of the April Session of PACE in Strasbourg the cooperation of the Ministry Committee and Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe combating discrimination against Roma children, post - monitoring for Turkey, the annual report of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, the urgent challenges for the education of young people in Europe will be discussed.
The Prime Minister of Georgia will address the PACE Plenum.
At the meeting of the Bureau in Paris the reports observing missions on elections held in Monaco, Armenia, and Bulgaria were considered. The cooperation of the Council of Europe and Belarus as well as the implementation of Resolution 1912 on the situation in Kosovo and the role of the Council of Europe were also discussed.
Today, on 8th March, the Standing Committee will be having a meeting, on which the documents in the period between two sessions of PACE are to be adopted.
At the session of today following topics are on the agenda: modification and transformation of the CE Committee, exchange of opinions on subcommittee view of the election of judges of the Court fro Human Rights of the Council of Europe, etc.
