Ordinary meeting of the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is being held in Paris, on 5 and 6 June.
The Report on Situation at the Middle East, with special reference to relations between Israel and Palestine, is on the Agenda. Members of the Committee accepted the Report as well as the Activity Report of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In the Report, the concern is expressed on activities of multinational companies, which evade paying tax in various manners, being one of the biggest problems that the governments of European countries are facing with. It was discussed on evaluation of partnership with the Parliament of Morocco, situation in Belarus and political transition in Tunis. It was agreed to work on preparation of the Activity Report of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). MP Zoran Vukčević, Head of the Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, participates at the Meeting of the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy.
