Ninth Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean, presided over by Mr. Martin Schulz, President of the European Parliament, will be held in Brussels from 11th to 12th April of this year. On the first working day, a meeting of the Committee on Political Affairs, Security and Human Rights will be held as well, where the participants will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Report of the Mediterranean Institute for Economic Forecast on the topic: “Europe and Mediterranean: Suggestions for development of the great region of global influence” and exchange opinions regarding development of the Middle East countries.
At the Agenda of the Plenary Session, which will be held on Friday 12th April, there will be issue of implementation of the Union for the Mediterranean projects, as well as consideration of conclusions from the Summit in Marseille.
