The upcoming PACE Session will be marked by addresses by Secretary-General of the United Nations Mr Ban Ki-moon, Prime Minister of Greece Mr Alexis Tsipras, President of Malta Ms Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, and the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe Mladen Ivanić.
The proposed agenda of the five-day Session, among other debates, also includes debates on: improving the protection of whistle-blowers; the functioning of democratic institutions in Azerbaijan; the annulment of the previously ratified credentials of the delegation of the Russian Federation; situation in Hungary; recognising and preventing neo-racism; increasing transparency of media ownership; media responsibility and ethics in a changing media environment.
On day one of the Session, a Ceremony on the occasion of marking the 60th anniversary of the Europe Prize will be held.
Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro will participate in the Summer Session in following composition: Head of Delegation Mr Predrag Sekulić, and members of Delegation: Mr Goran Tuponja, Ms Marija Maja Ćatović, Mr Damir Šehović and Ms Snežana Jonica.
