The upcoming session will be particularly focused on migration and refugee crisis in Europe, challenges met by the countries of transit and European asylum system. The proposed agenda of the session also includes the debates on the following topics: public health and the interests of the pharmaceutical industry; implementation of judgements of the European Court of Human Rights; freedom of religion and living together in a democratic society and the activities of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The parliamentarians will be addressed at the session by: His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, Prime Minister of Serbia, Chair of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On day one of the session, a ceremony on the occasion of presenting the Václav Havel Human Rights Prize will be held.
