The aim of the workshop is to inform MPs on current and forthcoming regional initiatives and programmes on climatic changes and varieties and influence of those on the Mediterranean region as well as influence of climatic changes on water and environment.

The programme of the workshop envisages the exchange of experiences and views among MPs and other interested parties on the manners in which MPs can improve their role and contribute to promotion of priority activities at the regional and national level.
