Election Observation Mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), consisting of Mr. Christopher Chope, Head of Delegation, Mr. Egidijus Vareikis, Mr. Indrek Saar, Mr. Grigor Petrenko, Ms. Nursuna Memekan, Mr. Kimmo Sasi and Mr. Peter Pacolaj, members of Delegation, will observe the upcoming presidential elections, which will be held on Sunday, 7th April 2013.
PACE Election Observation Mission, which will be staying in Montenegro from 5th to 8th April 2013, will follow the activities during the presidential elections, the work of the electoral administration and relevant state authorities, with the aim to assess the presidential elections with regard to fulfilling the criteria of a democratic election process.
Members of PACE Election Observation Mission will hold meetings with the presidential candidates Mr. Filip Vujanović and Mr. Miodrag Lekić, the Head of the State Election Commission Mr. Ivica Kalezić, as well as with the representatives of the media and NGOs.
PACE Members of the Election Observation Mission will be addressed by Mr. Ranko Krivokapić, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, who will meet afterwards with the Head of PACE Election Observation Mission in his Cabinet.
Members of PACE Election Observation Mission will also meet with the representatives of international organizations based in Montenegro: Mr. Ljubomir Kopaj, Head of OSCE Mission, the Ambassador Mr. Mitja Drobnič, Head of EU Delegation to Montenegro and Mr. Boris Frlec – Head of OSCE/ODIHR Limited Observation Mission, as well as its members.
