Children from private preschool (kindergarten) "Maša" and its international part visited today the building of the Parliament of Montenegro, as part of marking the week dedicated Montenegro. Children were, in a manner appropriate for their age, informed of the work of the Parliament and MPs, as well as laws that are adopted and apply to all citizens in our country. Children curiosity has no limits, so while they were sitting in the parliamentary seats, they had numerous questions for employees in the Parliament, such as "Who is sitting at the big table? What are the screens for? What are microphones and cards in MPs seats used for? etc."
Children were welcomed by the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Ranko Krivokapić. Children sang, with great enthusiasm, the Montenegrin anthem "Oj, svijetla majska zoro” to the President and then asked him unusual questions appropriate for children of their age. As a sign of gratitude for the reception in the Parliament, children presented the President of the Parliament with Montenegrin cap made by them.
At the end, couple of children answered questions at a press position in the main lobby such as: "What is the Parliament? Who is an MP? What is the law?” During the visit, a video was made which will be forwarded to the kindergarten "Maša".
