Topic: Smart Borders Package: European challenges, national experiences, the way ahead

On 23 and 24 February in the European Parliament in Brussels, an Interparliamentary meeting of the European Parliament and national parliaments will be held on the topic: “Smart Borders Package: European challenges, national experiences, the way ahead”.

The participants in the meeting will include representatives of the competent committees of the European Union member states’ parliaments and membership candidate countries, while special attention will be paid to proposals of regulations which should regulate entry and exit of the European Union by third-country nationals and duration of their stay in the EU territory.

The host of the meeting is the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs of the European Parliament.

The participants in the work of this meeting will be MPs Mr Genci Nimanbegu, member of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration, and Mr Luiđ Ljubo Škrelja, member of the Security and Defence Committee.
