The conversation was concentrated on the topic of open issues in the field of economic cooperation of Montenegro and Russian Federation, with an accent on the cooperation in the field of energy.  

The interlocutors concluded that much higher level of mutual cooperation was necessary in order to solve all open issues in those fields. Furthermore, they agreed that strengthening of cooperation in the fields of culture, education and science should be in the focus of mutual relations of Montenegro and Russian Federation, having in mind that there was a great potential for that type of cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Mr Miomir Vojinović, councillor of the SNP in the Municipal Committee of Bijelo Polje and Mr Boško Kovačević, newly-appointed head of the SNP media centre.
