Working Group for Drafting the Proposal for Resolution on European Integration held today, at 10:00 am, the meeting with: academician Mr. Miodrag Đurović, President of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, Ms. Mira Vukčevic, prof. PhD, Pro-Rector of the University of Montenegro, Mr. Vladimir Krsmanović, representative of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of Montenegro, Ms. Ivana Mihajlović, representative of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro, Mr. Dragan Koprivica, Executive Director of the Center for Democratic Transition, Mr. Momčilo Radulović, Secretary General of the European Movement, Ms. Milena Milošević, representative of the Institute “Alternative“ , Ms. Nikoleta Tomović, Executive Director of the Center for Monitoring and Research, Mr. Aleksandar Mašković, representative of the Network for Affirmation of Non-Governmental Sector and Mr. Boris Raonić the President of the Civic Alliance.
Representatives of the academic community, non-government sector and trade unions assessed positively holding of the Meeting, where opinions and suggestions regarding the preparation of the specified document were exchanged, and they expressed willingness to contribute to its drafting and application in the work of the Parliament itself.
Meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Mr. Igor Lukšić, PhD, and his associates, Acting Director General of the General Directorate for European Integration, Ms. Snežana Radović, and Secretary of the Negotiation Group, Mr. Milivoj Jurišić, was held at 2:00 pm.
Opinions on the role of the Parliament of Montenegro and its working bodies in the process of accessing negotiation were exchanged at the Meeting, with regard to harmonization of the legislation of Montenegro with the EU acquis and its application, as well as defining of the negotiating positions. Representatives of the Working Group and Minister of Foreign Affairs agreed that the Parliament of Montenegro should have a significant role in the very process and assessed as necessary adopting of this document as soon as possible. In addition, they agreed that, pending the adoption of the document, participation of the Parliament and its working bodies i.e. the Committee on European Integration should be more important regarding defining negotiation positions of Montenegro in certain chapters.

The fifth and the sixth meeting of the Working Group for Drafting the Proposal for Resolution on European Integration held
