Co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for the post-monitoring dialogue with Montenegro Mr Terry Leyden (Ireland) and Mr Ionut Marian Stroe (Romania) will pay a visit to Montenegro on 18 and 19 November 2015.
On that occasion, on Thursday 19 November, the following meetings will be held in the Parliament of Montenegro:
9:45 - Meeting with heads of MP Groups of opposition political parties
10:30 - Meeting with heads of MP Groups of parliamentary majority
11:15 - Reception by the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić
12:00 - Meeting with members of Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to PACE
The occasion for this visit of co-rapporteurs is to be informed on the activities that Montenegro has undertaken with regard to fulfilling recommendations and commitments defined in PACE’s Resolution 2030 (2015) “The honouring of obligations and commitments by Montenegro”, which was adopted by the PACE in January of this year.
During their two-day stay in Montenegro, the co-rapporteurs will meet with representatives of legislative, executive, and judicial powers, as well as with representatives of international organisations, NGOs, and the media.
