Representatives of Sector for Research, Analysis, Library and Documentation of the Parliament of Montenegro and correspondent of the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation (ECPRD) paid a three-day visit to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

During the visit, good practices regarding organization of research and library activities were exchanged, as well as information on plans for further development of research activities. Representatives of expert services were acquired with informative products and methodology of drafting research work, and international cooperation, especially within the network of the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation.

Internal regulations which stipulated information, research and library work in the Parliament of Montenegro and the National Assembly of Republic of Serbia were also presented and its significance concerning exercising of parliamentary functions was pointed out. Employees in the Parliament had and opportunity to become familiar with the fund of Library of the National Assembly of Serbia and plans for its further development.

The visit was supported by OSCE Mission to Montenegro with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the expert services of the Parliament of Montenegro and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, with special regard to exchange of experiences in the field of research-analytical activities.
