Upon the invitation of Mr Zsolt Németh, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Hungarian National Assembly, Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Miodrag Vuković attended the ceremonious sitting.

Chairing the sitting, Mr István Jakab welcomed the delegation of Montenegro in his address, especially Chairperson of the Committee Mr Miodrag Vuković.

After noting that there is no reprimands on the text of the Protocol, Hungarian parliamentarians ratified the NATO Accession Protocol for Montenegro with 180 votes “in favour” and one abstained.

Aside from Chairperson Vuković, the ceremonious sitting was also attended by National Coordinator for NATO Vesko Garcević and H.E. Mr Mirsad Bibović, Ambassador of Montenegro to Hungary.

During his visit to Budapest, Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Miodrag Vuković will have an official meeting with Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly Mr László Kövér.
