On this occasion, H.E. Mr Roman Hloben, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Montenegro, stressed that Slovakia was one of the first countries to support the NATO Accession Protocol for Montenegro, and that it supported further progress of Montenegro on its path towards NATO and EU.

The interlocutors agreed that NATO membership guaranteed stability and security, and that it was important for accelerating and exercising minority rights, particularly with regard to preserving identity and integrity of minorities, economic development and rule of law.
