She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica in 1990.

Since 1992, she has been acquiring work experience in the following institutions: Ministry of Justice of Montenegro, Basic Court in Podgorica, Basic Court Sarajevo II, and Ministry of Health of Montenegro.

Since 2001, she has been working in her own Law Office, with primary field of activity being civil and commercial law and human rights. She was the first president of the management board of NGO “Bosniak Forum” since its founding.

She cooperated with the following NGOs: “MANS”, “Centre for Legal Aid”, “SOS Help-line for Women and Children - Victims of Violence”. She is the Minister of Justice at the NGO “Women’s Government”. She worked as a coordinator for legal aid at the NGO “Youth Initiative for Human Rights – YIHR” and as a coordinator of the Legal Program NGO “Forum 2010”.

She is married, with three children.
