Sixth Meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee of the European Union and Montenegro (SAPC), co-presided by President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić and Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo Mr Eduard Kukan , ended in Podgorica today, with the adoption of recommendations.
The second day of the Meeting was dedicated to the following topics: Recent Elections – Lessons Learnt (amendments to the Electoral Law, its application and data on elections), where the keynote speakers were Ms Nada Drobnjak and Mr Dritan Abazović, European Union, Euro Zone and Montenegro – Development after the Financial Crises, where the keynote speaker was Mr Damir Šehović After a two-day work, the SAPC members adopted recommendations confirming achieved progress in various areas within the association process of Montenegro to the EU, and identified areas in which additional effort needed to be invested in order to fulfill the European standards, necessary for full-fledged EU membership.Following the forth meeting, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić and Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo Mr Eduard Kukan held a Press Conference.
