On day six of the Second Sitting of the First Ordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2014, under the item of the agenda Elections and Appointments, none of the candidates for the election of Supreme State Prosecutor received the necessary majority of votes. Most votes were received by Mr Goran Rodić - 36, followed by Mr Branko Vučković - 34, Ms Stojanka Radović – 1, while Ms Vesna Jovićević received none. Two candidates for the members of Judicial Council Mr Dobrica Šljivančanin and Mr Loro Markič received the necessary majority of votes, while the Parliament will vote on the other two candidates, Ms Vesna Simović-Zvicer and Mr Mladen Vukčević, no sooner than in a month, in accordance with the Constitution of Montenegro.
After that, the following was adopted: Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Data Confidentiality; Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Inspection Control; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Anti-discrimination Law; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Trademark Law; Proposal for the Law on Construction Products; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Plant Protection Products; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Transportation in Road Traffic; as well as the 2012 Performance Report of the Security and Defence Committee.
The Second Sitting of the First Ordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2014 will be continued on Tuesday, 1 April, at 11:00.
