On the sixth day of the Eighth Sitting of the First Ordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2014, the discussion on the 2013 Report on the state in the field of access to information in Montenegro and the 2013 Report on the state of data protection in Montenegro was concluded.

After resuming the session, the Second Sitting of the First Ordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2014 was continued with, and the following was adopted: the Proposal for the Law on Combined Transportation of Cargo, the Proposal for the Law on Responsibility for Environmental Damage, the Proposal for the Law on National Parks, the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Sea Protection from Pollution from Vessels, the Proposal for the Law on Basic Principles of Intelligence and Security Sector of Montenegro, the Proposal for the Law on Ratification of Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the People's Republic of China on Enhancing Cooperation in Infrastructure Construction, the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Enforcement and Security and the Proposal for the Law on Deadlines for Settling Financial Obligations.

Within the agenda item Elections and Appointments, two members of the Judicial Councilwere elected, namely – Mr Mladen Vukčević and Ms Vesna Simović-Zvicer, the Radio Television of Montenegro Council was appointed, and Mr Ilija Vujošević was appointed the member of the jury for the 13th July Awards. In adition, Mr Momčilo Vuksanović was appointed member of the Management Board of the Fund for Protection and Exercising of Minority Rights.

The Eighth Sitting of the First Ordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2014 will be continued on Tuesday, 24 June, at 11.00 am.
