He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Priština and Higher Financial School in Belgrade. In his career so far, he worked in the Regional Institute for Nature Conservation, from 1982 in the system of Wooden Industry “Jugodrvo” Belgrade - at positions of manager of the sector for export-import, from 1984 in Holding “Obod”, Cetinje, and from October 1999 at position of director of regional unit of the Forest Administration in Plav. He is an MP of Montenegro in the second mandate and a member of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration and the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the 24^th convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro.

He speaks German, he is married and a father of four.
