The conference will address current and important issues in national policies and parliaments of small European states, the impact of the economic and debt crisis on small countries as well as potentials for cooperataion of these countries in the field of education and research.

At the end of the conference, the Final Declaration will be adopted, and the Conference will be chaired by Mr Einar K. Gudfinnsson, Speaker of the Parliament of Iceland (Alþingi).
