It was stated at the meeting that relations between the two countries are constantly progressing, and that the economic investments from China are increasingly present in Montenegro.

- These days in the Parliament, we adopted the Law on the highway that will be built by Chinese companies. In this way, new pages of history of advanced relations between China and Montenegro will be written. In addition to political and economic relations between our countries, I must say that cultural cooperation is very active - said Mustafić.

Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of Sichuan Province, Zhang Dongsheng emphasized that, despite the geographical distance between China and Montenegro, there is a close friendship between the two countries.  

- The exchange of diplomats between our countries contributed a lot and set good foundations for future cooperation. Our province, which is located in the west of China is very rich in natural resources and has large population, and I will convey my impressions from Montenegro, suggesting that as many investors as possible should invest their capital in your beautiful country – said Dongsheng.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of China to Montenegro Cui Yhiwei, who pointed out that the aim of the visit is establishing the cooperation between the Sichuan Province and Podgorica.
