The Vice-President Mustafić thanked the representatives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for the previous cooperation and emphasized the role and importance of the Parliament in the EU integration process, through its legislative and oversight function.

He said that additional work on strengthening the institutional capacity of Parliament, staff building and improvement of material and technical conditions of work in this House should be done.

It was emphasized that building the capacities of the Parliament gives incentive to the reforms, democratization, the rule of law and strengthening of other institutions in integration process.

The position and role of minority parties in political life, the Parliament and executive power were discussed.

It was mutually concluded that, in the following period, cooperation between local political actors and institutions with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation should be enhanced.
