Vice President Mustafić pointed out that Montenegro was committed to European integration, that it awaited the NATO Alliance membership invitation, as well as that it aspired to the rule of law and establishment of a better legislative framework which would enable greater attraction of foreign investments.
- Special significance is held by our two parliaments and their cooperation, which should be intensified in the following period through direct contact in bilateral relations and international initiatives. Our parliamentary friendship groups are an important bridge of cooperation between the two countries, creating prerequisites for developing relations in areas of economy, industry, culture, and sports, said Mr Mustafić.
Mr Mustafić said that through mutual support in international organisations, the relations between the two countries could be improved further. He congratulated Azerbaijan on their very good organisation of the European games which were held in Baku this year, in which a significant number of athletes from Montenegro participated.
The meeting was also attended by chargé d'affaires of the Azerbaijan Embassy to Montenegro Mr Seyran Mirzazadeh.
