Interlocutors praised current cooperation between the two parliaments but also relations between Montenegro and Austria. At the meeting it was pointed out that links of friendship connecting Montenegro and Austria indicate that countries not sharing boundaries may foster extremely well neighborly relations and that this visit additionally shows that Austria is one of the greatest allies Montenegro has on its path towards the European Union.

The presidents of two parliaments officially opened “Democratic Workshops” and signed Memorandum on Cooperation between the Parliament of Montenegro, ERSTE Foundation and NGO Forum of Youth and Informal Education. The President Krivokapić said that the project “Democratic Workshops” is of immeasurable importance and that it gathered Montenegrin children in the Parliament of Montenegro. The President of the National Council of Austria Ms. Barbara Prammer expressed expectations that the project “Democratic Workshops” will be greatly beneficial to the youth in Montenegro.
