President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapić, will open international conference titled “Strengthening the role and function of the Parliament of Montenegro in decision-making procedures“, at 13:00 p.m, in the Blue Room.
The Conference is dedicated to functioning of the national parliaments of Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is held within a framework of the project realized by the Faculty of Political Sciences from Podgorica, Faculty of Political Sciences from Belgrade and Open Center from Sarajevo, under the auspices of the Regional Research Promotion Programme of the University of Fribourg.
Within a framework of the project “Comparative Analyses of Democratic Performances in parliaments of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro”, the Public Policy Research Group gathered at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica, has made a study aimed at analyzing the functioning of the Montenegrin Parliament in order to make recommendations for the improvement of its role and operation regarding decision making procedure.
The study titled “Strengthening the role and function of the Parliament of Montenegro in decision-making procedures – Recommendations for improvement“ is primarily directed to decision makers, and it relies strongly on researcehes of national team gathered at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica. Findings, published in the works of the researches, will be presented in special publication.
