President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić opened today the International Academic Conference, organised by the Montenegrin Association of Political Science Students.
“Small nations survive with strong leadership”, Mr Krivokapić stated in his addressing to the students, adding that today they were on the right place “the smallest but the most lasting independent country in the Balkans, which has survived among great empires”.
Mr Krivokapić said to the students that the education they had chosen nourished right values, encouraging them to be persistent in fighting for those values.
Topic of the International Academic Conference is Challenges to Global Political Economy, and around 60 students from 13 world’s countries participate in its work.
In addition to President Krivokapić, the participants of the Conference were also addressed by Mr Thomas Linders, Secretary General of the International Association of Political Science Students (IAPSS) and Ms Ksenija Martinović – President of the Montenegrin Association of Political Science Students.
