The President of the Parliament of Montenegro and President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr Ranko Krivokapić will host the Autumn Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly which is to be held in Budva, from 13 to 15 October 2013.
The Autumn Session of the largest Parliamentary Assembly in the world will gather representatives of the parliaments of 57 OSCE members.
The Autumn Session of OSCE PA will be dedicated to the topics such as: the role of OSCE in promotion of protection of human rights, terrorism and transnational threats, security effects of the economic crisis, integration of diverse societies.
Let us recall that, at the Annual Session of OSCE PA held in Istanbul on 3 June 2013, Mr Ranko Krivokapić was elected president.
The key issues in focus of OSCE operations are the following: safety for all people in OSCE member states, democracy and human rights, humanitarian issues, economy and protection of the environment. The results of OSCE activities are declarations, recommendations, reports addressed to the governments, parliaments and civil sector relating to promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms, economic and environmental cooperation and military-political policies.
