“Dear Citizens of the Capital,

There is almost no city in Europe that was 72 times destroyed by bombing and rebuilt, such as Podgorica. Sahat kula has resisted all those wounds and historical scars, and today it stands defiantly as the lighthouse announcing the harbor – the Capital of Montenegro – Podgorica.

Citizens of Podgorica, as well as citizens of Montenegro, deserve modern Capital city, life at higher level, taking into consideration the balanced development of all parts of the town. I am certain that Podgorica, with its jewel Duklja, shall be the place of joining historical wisdom and living quality in our European home.
