“The town of Bar, the naval gateway and libertarian haven of Montenegro and the Mediterranean, open to friends from all over the world, is the hearth of co-existence and rich cultural and historic tradition.

For centuries, the citizens of Bar have been proud of their multiculturalism and tolerance governing the town under the mountain Rumija. The ancient Old Town of Bar, the museum under the open sky, is witness to the centuries long endurance of the town.

I am convinced that these values will be a guiding idea of the future generations of citizens of Bar as well, who have always been dedicated to the prosperity of their town and the country of Montenegro.
