Eight and half decades ago, Mr Mićo Stijović created former Commercial and Industrial Chamber and Chamber of Crafts, which has become a foundation of the present home of Montenegrin economy and entrepreneurs.

Thanks to visionary and entrepreneurial and creative awareness of hard-working Montenegrins, today we all have the opportunity to jointly praise eight decades long vertical of economic organization and association.

Rich with that tradition, and with joint efforts, we have essentially connected two places of concentration of thoughts, wisdoms and knowledge – Parliament of Montenegro and Chamber of Economy through First Montenegrin Entrepreneur Parliament. That is the place where representatives of citizens and economy will gather and, through mutual consultation, create system which will be stronger and richer, as a place of better life of our citizens.

Using our institutional strength and your effort, knowledge and skills, we can stroke further in our development and Euro-Atlantic path.

To you, entrepreneurs and laureates of this year, I congratulate 85th birthday, with a wish to celebrate the 100th together in economically independent and stronger Montenegro, as a member of the European Union.
