President of the Parliament of Montenegro and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr Ranko Krivokapić will open the V Session of the Children’s Parliament, organised by the Parliament of Montenegro in cooperation with the Child Rights Centre of Montenegro and Save the Children in North West Balkans, in the Plenary Hall of the Parliament, today, at 12:00.
Following the introductory statement of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr Ranko Krivokapić and addressing of the Chair of the Children’s Parliament, representatives of MP Groups of the Parliament of Montenegro and representatives of the Government of Montenegro will answer children’s questions.
The Session will be attended by 46 children,36 from primary schools and 10 from secondary schools, from 19 Montenegrin municipalities.
V Children's Parliamentis organised on the occasion of 20 November, the day of adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and this year it is devoted to affirmation of children’s rights to participate and advocate, as important social values.
