The Collegium of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro severely condemns the physical assault on the MP Nebojša Medojević and calls for the competent authorities to carry out appropriate procedures regarding this case, in accordance with the law.

Simultaneously, the Collegium of the President calls for all political entities and other public actors to, by honouring political and other differences, adjust their public communication to the need for improvement of the overall social environment, culture of dialogue and building of mutual trust.

The Collegium of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro agreed to hold the first Sitting of the Ordinary Spring Session on 11 March 2014 in Cetinje.

In order to accelerate the procedure for building trust in the election process, the President of the Parliament expressed willingness to include the subsequent Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs in the agenda of the first upcoming sitting of the Parliament of Montenegro.
