“Esteemed citizens of Ulcinj,

I am sure that it is an exceptionally beautiful feeling to be a citizen of Ulcinj, a city as firm as its fortress that defies the bora like the rocks from the sea facing Otranto, keeping with its walls a special value. 

Diverse cultures, religions and nations melted into one whole make that special value, which is the treasure of Montenegro, a guarantee of its eternity. Ulcinj is not just a town, but a bastion of multicultural Montenegro, its diversity in full brilliance.

Ulcinj deserves a more just and wiser valorisation of its resources. The state is obliged to enhance its further development, for better lives of its citizens.  

On behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and on my own behalf, I wish you a happy 5 April - Municipality Day of Ulcinj.”
