At the beginning of the meeting, interlocutors pointed out that Montenegro and Slovakia are friendly and partnership states, whose room for cooperation is constantly expanding for the mutual benefit.
President Ranko Krivokapić emphasized that economic relations between the two states have been further activated, and he welcomed recently signed Memorandum on cooperation in the field of energetics and the Agreement on economic cooperation. Also, Krivokapić thanked Deputy Prime Minister Lajčak for the cooperation in the field of projects of support and preparation of our institutions for full membership of Montenegro to the EU and NATO. “Your experience in Euro Atlantic integration is valuable for Montenegro so that any exchange of knowledge and support on that path is of significant importance”.
Deputy Prime Minister Lajčak underlined that Slovak Republic has always been a strong partner and promoter of our state when it comes to integration of Montenegro to the EU and NATO.
Interlocutors concluded that Montenegro is successful on its path to the EU and North Atlantic Alliance.
