President Krivokapić and Mr Jenkins emphasized the good bilateral relations between Montenegro and the United Kingdom, and assessed the need to use the space for further improvement of cooperation that existed.

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Ranko Krivokapić, expressed his gratitude for the support of the Great Britain, given to our country in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration. ″Full membership in the European Union and NATO are strategic foreign policy priorities of Montenegro, and every support in this way is the testimony of friendship and partnership″, President Krivokapić emphasized.

Director of the Western Balkans and Enlargement Directorate, Owen Jenkins, stressed that Montenegro still held a leading position in the Euro-Atlantic integration of the region. The interlocutors concluded that further actions to strengthen the rule of law were priority, both in the spirit of the integration process and stability.
